This workshop presents a practical approach to yoga for athletes and cross-trainers. Going against the grain, this class will direct you not to compete, but to connect.
You’ll begin by connecting to your mind through a focus meditation – perfect for a “peak performance” pre-game ritual. You’ll then have time to connect to your body during a thoughtfully crafted sequence focusing on shoulders, hips and hamstrings. The movements you’ll learn should feel good in the moment and also offer a perfect warm up routine to optimize your future workouts. Finally, you’ll have a chance to recover and restore range of motion, deeply connecting with your breath in a restorative pose or two.
