In this three-day training you will gain information and understanding about teaching yoga to individuals and groups with special therapeutic needs. You will learn specific protocols for teaching yoga to people with breast cancer and multiple sclerosis (MS), and an introduction to working with people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We will also cover ways to address a variety of musculoskeletal issues including scoliosis and knee pain.

In addition you’ll learn client-centered principles and strategies that will help you work with anyone, whether you have experience with their specific condition or not. You will learn how to help your students read and respond to their own body’s cues about what they need. You will also learn specific techniques for adding Reiki, chanting, breathing/pranayama and meditation to a yoga routine for someone with special needs.

A $75.00 cancellation fee is included in the workshop cost. No refunds will be given within 30 days of the start date of workshops.
