Dale Ann Gray

Dale Ann Gray is a yoga geek. Her yoga journey began with books checked out of her elementary school library. 1998 brought the discovery of Rodney Yee’s “Yoga for Energy.” In 2007, during a 75-pound weight loss, Dale Ann finally came home to a daily yoga practice. She found her yoga community at Yoga on High with Marcia, Linda and Martha and completed their 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2011.

She never met a style of yoga she didn’t love – even 105° hot yoga. Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hot, Yohi’s signature Sekoia, iRest, Restorative and Aerial beckon her deeper into herself – body, mind and breath. She adores teaching Sekoia Aerial Yoga (Tuesdays at noon)! Currently completing YoHi’s 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, Dale Ann is certified to teach Hatha, Om Vinyasa, Restorative, Pranayama, Meditation, EMBER (Mindfulness Based Emotional Resilience – trauma sensitive yoga), has become a Reiki Master Teacher, an iRest Level 2 teacher, and in her spare time studies Sanskrit. She finally got to practice with her original inspiration, Rodney Yee, and has since studied with Cyndi Lee, Anne Douglas, Stephanie Lopez, Kate Potter, Bessel van der Kolk, Lorin Roche, Will Johnson, Roger Cole and Doug Keller.

Dale Ann raised and home-schooled five kids with her high school sweetheart husband, Gary, and in her former life was a Systems Analyst and taught high school vocal music. She is an ordained pastor and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Math and Music, Master’s degrees in Divinity and Sacred Theology, and a Ph.D. in Theology. And she loves to cook! (Ask her sometime about her Grilled Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese & Balsamic Reduction)

Dale Ann treasures accompanying her students on their yoga journeys deeper into themselves where they can meet The One, The Whole, The All-That-Is. Yep. She’s a certified yoga geek.
