The Hatha Basic New Beginners course is a 8-week session for people who have never done yoga before. It is a thorough introduction to a basic group of yoga asanas, basic breath awareness practices, and Savasana (deep relaxation). This course sensitizes students to their own body signals and helps them understand and address their physical strengths and weaknesses. To take this class, you must be able to get down to and up from the floor.

1.Need to relax and de-stress.
2.Want to increase strength and flexibility.
3.Are exploring yoga for the first time.
4.Want to learn to breathe properly.

Prenatal yoga adapts traditional yoga postures for the specific needs of pregnancy through gentle yoga movements. It also helps relieve tension and teaches you how to remain calm and balanced, important skills during labor and delivery.

This course includes stretching, postural alignment and breathing techniques. You will also learn specific yoga poses for addressing the discomforts of pregnancy and for building strength, flexibility and endurance. Each class will conclude with a relaxation period. You are encouraged to practice at your own level of comfort, and the teacher can help you modify any pose.

Appropriate for women in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.

This class is appropriate for beginners without health issues like major back pain or shoulder injuries, who are looking for a more vigorous yoga experience than the Basic New Beginners. All categories of poses are included along with relaxation and breath training. Poses are held longer than in Basic New Beginners and transitions may be faster. While basic sequences are repeated frequently enough to learn them, each class offers new poses and pose sequences.

Join Ayurveda Practitioner, Marina Zahran in the exploration of using Ayurvedic Medicine to find Hormonal Balance. Ayurveda is a 5,000 yr old ancient and holistic medicine used to approach dis-ease from the bottom-up. Many people with muscle tightness or decreased range of motion find yoga practice brings noticeable improvement.
