What would your life be like if you could sit with your own pain? What if you could simply listen from a deep place and love yourself exactly where you are? Allowing death of a loved one, marriage, job, home or health to wash through you? What would your own life be like if you could sit and listen to another’s story of loss without jumping into action? These are very difficult things to learn, however, through simple movement and deep rest, it’s possible to integrate these experiences into our being. We know from our death retreat experiences that working through grief in community is healing on all levels of our being. In this four-week series you will experience a layering of relaxation techniques from Urban Zen Integrative Therapy to deeply calm your nervous system. You’ll cultivate skills of deeper listening to yourself and others. The series will also include creativity exercises that can bring a sense of richness and maybe even joy into your experience of grief.
Class fee is refundable if canceled 7 or more days prior to start of class. Class fee, less a $15 administration fee, is refundable if canceled 4-6 days prior to the start of class.
