Series Class Makeup Info
If you are enrolled in a Beginner, Foundational or Prenatal Series, you may make up in another class with the same name as long as there is space in that class. Please speak with your teacher if you need guidance or suggestions in how to make up your class. When you arrive to a makeup class, let the teacher know your name and the class you normally attend.
Please note that if class is cancelled due to weather conditions, it will be posted on our weather page and a makeup class will be added at the end so that you receive all of your classes.
Please allow yourself plenty of time to find parking, sign-in, and settle into class. On your first visit to Yoga on High please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork prior to the beginning of class.
Pre-Registration: We love to know you're coming so please be sure to pre-register for class. Visit our Open Class Schedule to pre-register. Once you have a class pass you may go directly to your classroom and sign in on the iPad.
Turn off electronics: Ensure you turn off cell phones and electronic devices before entering the building.
Practice good props management: Please return all props to their appropriate place at the end of class. Be mindful to refold blankets to their original “trained” fold.
Noise control: While in the reception area, please hold your conversations away from the studio doors to be considerate of other classes still in session.
Props: We provide most props and clean them regularly. You may consider purchasing your own props for class or home use from our retail store. For hot classes, we suggest bringing your own towel or renting one at the front desk.
Eye pillows: For hygienic purposes we do not provide eye pillows. We recommend (but do not require) that you purchase your own.
Loaner mats: We have mats you can borrow, but if you practice regularly you will want to own one. Please spray and wipe rental mats with cleaner located near the props before returning to the front desk.
Refrain from wearing scents and chewing gum in class.
Yoga clothes should be stretchy and invite movement within the body. We recommend practicing in bare feet or with yoga grip socks.
Students practicing in heated rooms may wish to come to class with layers of clothing.
Eating two hours prior to class is not encouraged. If necessary, choose something light like a piece of fruit. You may bring water to class or use the drinking fountain located in between the bathrooms. Ashtanga students are not encouraged to drink cold water during class.
Always practice at your own comfort level and let the teacher know if you have any injuries or would like modifications for any pose.
The more you practice yoga, the greater the benefits.
