Anxiety is characterized by a variety of symptoms including excessive, repetitive worry; depression; mental and physical agitation; headaches; sleeping and digestive disorders; and rapid breath rhythms. Feelings of anxiousness may be transient or more chronic in nature. While classes will include specific yoga poses for anxiety, they will also incorporate the use of chanting, breath work, meditation, witnessing, laughter yoga, and BalanceĀ® work. Additionally, there will be time for discussion around developing personal strategies based on your own, unique experiences of anxiety. No previous yoga experience is required. Preregistration is required.
